Dr. Tamara Broadhead is a seasoned health care professional with a passion for guiding her patients through the health care experience whether that is through health coaching, diagnosis and treatment of chronic disease, or just as a trusted copilot throughout your journey of care. She is dual board certified in family practice and psychiatry with the goal of treating the whole person, whether it is with traditional westernized medicine, alternative and complementary therapies, functional, or integrative treatment philosophies. There is no modality alone that meets the wellness needs of every individual. Therefore, a knowledge of several different strategies is imperative for a comprehensive approach to healthcare.
Tamara has spent over two decades healthcare in which she has honed her clinical skills in both family medicine and psychiatry, but also held many leadership roles as a medical director, adjunct clinical instructor and preceptor for several graduate APRN programs, has built and grown three successful medical practices, and has been a practice consultant throughout Salt Lake and Utah counties.
She has a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree with family practice certification from Idaho State University, a post graduate certification in advanced practice psychiatric mental health nursing, and two bachelor’s degrees, in nursing and psychology.
